Texas has several road courses where you can drive or ride in a performance car. Which providers run public events at each changes by season, so check current calendars.

Harris Hill Raceway (San Marcos)
A 2.9-mile club road course about 40 minutes south of Austin, known for track days and driving schools. Check its calendar for public events and lapping days.
Texas Motor Speedway (Fort Worth)
Large NASCAR/IndyCar venue in North Texas that has hosted stock-car and exotic driving experiences from various providers.
MSR Houston (Angleton)
A members' country-club road course south of Houston that hosts some public driving schools and events.
Eagles Canyon Raceway (Decatur)
A road course northwest of Fort Worth used for track days and driving schools.
Choosing an experience
- Laps vs. price: compare cost per lap, not just total
- Track type: a road course with real corners is more engaging than an oval
- Instructor policy: one-on-one in-car coaching is the standard
- Damage protection: know your liability and any optional protection plan
- Video: in-car video is often an add-on worth buying
